Nutrition Counseling, Coaching & Education

It seems like every day is National Something day now. And while I usually think those are pretty silly, every now and then there comes along a day like today, that I think is a good one to remember and observe. Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day. A day to put others before ourselves and do something thoughtful and kind. It could be as simple as letting someone go in front of you in a line of traffic, paying for the customer in line behind you at the coffee shop, or simply reminding someone how important they are to you. All of these random acts of kindness, however large or small, are good for the soul. While my specialty is nutrition, I firmly believe in the importance of whole body health and often reflect on a quote I once read that I find very true:
“Your diet is not only what you eat. It is what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, and the people you surround yourself with. Pay attention to what you feed your soul, not just your stomach.”
Today, and every day, remember that doing good for others, and striving to always be kind and thoughtful can do so much good – for others and for you!
